SomosOnichan is an independent website dedicated to sharing news, analysis, trivia, and creative content about the world of anime and Japanese culture.
Our goal is to inform, entertain, and provide a fresh, responsible, and human perspective on the topics that the otaku community is passionate about, from the most anticipated releases to the classic characters that marked generations.
A project created with passion
Behind SomosOnichan is Juan Pablo J. C., a self-taught designer and SEO specialist with experience in digital media. The idea for this space is born from a love for anime, but also from the desire to offer relevant and useful content, without falling into the superficial or repetitive.
Here there is no automatic writing or empty content. Each article is researched, written, and edited by real people, with dedication and editorial criteria.
Human team
We have a small but committed writing team that works remotely:
- Nallely, a writer specializing in news and creative content about anime culture.
- Abigail Avendaño, with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in communication, who provides deeper analysis and a critical view on current topics in anime and the industry.
- Julie, an anime lover and passionate about beautiful designs.
They don’t just write, they also research, check sources, and take care with each publication to ensure that our readers receive content with value.
