The Infinity Castle movies are here to be etched in history, as the first trilogy of movies released in theaters worldwide about an anime, That’s right, I’m talking about “Demon Slayer Infinity Castle arc – the movies”!.
How many movies are there?
There are three movies that will decide the final battle inside the infinity castle (an infinite place where multiple houses and locations are generated thanks to a demon that controls everything and is capable of endlessly generating and moving everything at will to divide the pillars, said place is full of demons that don’t seem to end but that the pillars have the duty to finish them and Muzan).
What are the Infinity Castle movies about?
The place where the pillars must finish off the most powerful upper moons in all of anime and the one responsible for everything: “Muzan Kibutsuji”.
In them, we will be able to see great feats by the protagonists, fights that will break the internet, and exciting scenes that will leave more than one crying in the movie theaters because of how sad they are and because of… how good they are.
When do the Infinity Castle movies come out?
The first one is already out, they usually come out first in Japan, the first part of the three movies came out on July 18th in Japan and for Latin America it came out later on September 11th in all theaters.
For the second one, we have a confirmation between yes and no, that it will be for the year 2026, this according to what the official sources of the company commented:
Although to be honest, I don’t think that old and new fans will set it aside and not want to see it even if a couple of years pass, this anime spent years repeating the episodes of its series over and over again, until the last series was announced where the patron is killed by Muzan and from there the movies, the fans love it and it is certain that the movies will triumph yes or yes regardless of the wait but.. we appreciate them not making us wait long.
Fights that happened in the first Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie
The fights that happened in the first of the three movies was that of Tanjiro Kamado in the company of Tomioka against Akaza, leaving us with one of the most amazing fights we could have seen, with the awakening of the mark on Tomioka and the great ability of the first pillar of sun breathing in Tanjiro, thus managing to bypass Akaza’s compass that detected fighting spirit.
The emotional fight
One of the most emotional fights was Shinobu’s against Douma (Upper Moon No 2). Who curiously was also the one who murdered her older sister, in the first movie, despite seeing the great effort by Shinobu to finish off Upper Moon No 2, it was impossible for her and she ended up falling to him but poisoning him, as she had been consuming poison for a long time specifically to finish off that woman-eating upper moon, leaving Inosuke and Kanao with the task of finishing him.
The fight of revenge and Zenitsu’s story
Zenitsu on the other hand gives us one of the best lessons in life, keep progressing no matter how much people believe and say that you are nothing more than a simple embarrassment, you keep going forward and don’t tell them about your progress, as Zenitsu managed to avenge his grandpa, or well, the one he considered his grandpa, with a new form, created from scratch and perfected by himself, a very powerful technique that he used to finish off his former partner Kaigaku, who was now a demon.
And for the third movie, if it is as they commented, following the logic that it wouldn’t take more than two years, then we could have it between the year 2027 and the year 2028.
